Sunday Update - An Evening at the Fletcher's

Ceil had a nice relaxing morning and afternoon.  After a nice steak dinner and coffee, we needed something to do to work off the meal.   Linda thought a visit to the Fletcher's would be a great after dinner destination.  So it was off to the Fletcher's house.  We had to take our car because the van was blocked by another car.  Ceil got to go in regular style, which was good for her, and good for a change of pace.  We had a great time at the Fletcher's house with Denise, Bil. and Karen.  There were lots of stories and laughter, which is so good for Ceil.  Thanks for having us over Bill and Denise!  Enjoy the pictures.

Saturday - Girls Evening in Pictures!

Ceil had a wonderful evening with Tammy, Wendy, and Wendy's daughter Emily.  Denise and Karen came earlier to spend the afternoon with Ceil.  The evening was filled with laughter, good conversation, and reminiscing about the good old days.  Ceil had such a good time, and looked like a true party girl for the occasion.  Enjoy the pictures.

Friday Update

Ceil is doing great today. Denise came to spend the day with Ceil, and Linda is coming home early, so that Robbie and I can go to Green Bay to get the rest of his belongings and sublet his apartment. Brian will be coming after Ceil's nap, and that should be fun. More to come.  Brian and Mickie showed up as planned.  The gang decided to head to Mexican Village for dinner.  Tacos for Ceil and a rubber steak for Brian was on the menu.  The Mexican Gang came back to house for a little more visiting. After their departure Ceil and Linda settled in for another installment of their beloved All My Children.  Ceil is now in bed resting after a fun evening with her family. Enjoy the pictures.

Thursday Update

Thursday was another quiet day for Ceil.  Just enjoying the peacefulness of her home, the simple things that make life enjoyable.  Friday and the weekend promise to be full of visiting friends and family.  Stay tuned.

Wednesday Update - Another Walk

Ceil was up and doing fine.  We did get a walk in this morning before the humidity got too high.  A walk that found Ceil enjoying the new flowers that are blooming late in July.

Tuesday Update

Ceil was doing great this morning.  Linda came home early and spent some quality time with Ceil.  We did wind up going out for dinner to Arby's, and then to Walmart.  Other than that, a pretty quiet day at home.

Monday Update

Ceil was doing fine on Monday morning.  The day was very quiet and without event.  Ceil enjoyed a nice day at home relaxing in her favorite chair, and doing the things that make her happy.

Sunday Afternoon with Kevin and Colleen

Ceil had a nice quiet Sunday morning.  Kevin and Colleen came to visit Ceil after her afternoon nap. They had planned an outing to Munsinger gardens and then a nice picnic at Riverside park .  They had a wonderful time, and the weather was so beautiful. You could see that Ceil was really enjoying herself, and it is so good to see her outside in the sun and fresh air. 

Saturday Update

Ceil was doing great this morning.  The day started out with thunder and lightning.  Then the storms came through with heavy rain and pea-size hail.  Just when we thought the day was a wash-out, the phone rang.  It was Doris calling from her daughter's house in Zimmerman.  The clouds cleared and the day started looking up.  Doris, Mary, and  Mary's son Cody came to visit Ceil in the afternoon.  They had tea and good conversation, catching up on news about the family up north.  Ceil had such a good time with her sister and niece.  It is so good to have them come to visit.  This really made the day for Ceil.  Sunday also holds the promise of surprises and more stories.

Friday Update

Ceil is doing great today.  Not much to report, but we did manage to get a walk in this morning before the temp went up too high.  Simple pleasures around the house, and around the neighborhood.  Kyle A. made a surprise visit, (forgot to get a picture), and spent some quality time visiting with Ceil.  Ceil was delighted to see Kyle after all these years.  Thanks for stopping by Kyle!  The weekend is upon us.  Good things ahead!

Thursday Update

Ceil was doing great today.  Linda took part of the day off to spend time with Ceil.  We went on an outing to our second home, Walmart, and then to Hardee's for a nice lunch.  The rest of the day was spent enjoying the day together and being home.  The weekend is coming near!  Hopefully Ceil will have some good times with family and friends.

Wednesday Update

Ceil is doing great today.  Very quiet here at home, nothing to report.  See you tomorrow.

Tuesday Update - Linda's Day Off!

Linda took a rare day off today, and we were not going to sit in the house this morning.  We went on an outing to Walmart and China one restaurant.  The temp was not too bad, and we were not out in the weather for too long.  It was a nice morning for Ceil and Linda.

Monday Update

Ceil was up and doing fine this morning.  Larry and Noriko were getting ready for a trip up to Bemidji to visit friends, and then back to Montana to prepare for their move to California.  The temps were still too hot to venture out of the house, so it was all indoor activities again for Ceil.  It was another good day for Ceil at home.

Sunday Update

It was another great day for Ceil.  Larry and Noriko are here for the weekend visiting, before they leave for California to start their new life.   Denise came this evening to visit as well.  It was just too hot to go outside today.  So, it was inside activities for Ceil.  A very nice day overall.

Friday in a word, boring.  All goes well for Ceil.  Tomorrow will be a much more newsworthy.

Thursday Update - Third Verse, Same as the First!

Well, another very quiet day for Ceil.  She is doing great, and loving being home.  Hopefully the weekend will provide us with more details to blog about.  For now, it's all about being home and doing great!

Wednesday Update

Wednesday was a lot like Monday - very quiet.  Ceil did well with her therapy and showed she still has a lot of strength and determination.  A quiet evening is planned.  Hopefully some outings will take place before the heat wave comes on Saturday.

Tuesday Update - Lunch with Doug

Ceil is going to have a farewell lunch with Doug today.  Doug will be going out of the country for an extended period with Doris.  We wish them safety and good traveling weather.  They are going to Dickie's BBQ here in St. Cloud.  Should be fun.  Pictures below.
