Sunday Update

Ceil had a great morning with Brian and Micki.  We all went to brunch and enjoy a variety of wonderful breakfast food.  The little man was with us, and really enjoyed being the grown-ups and eating real food too!

Friday/Saturday Update

Friday was a quiet day.  Nothing to report. Saturday the sun was shining again. We had to outing to Walmart to get pumpkins for Halloween.  Ceil got a deal on pumkins at $1.97 each.  Later Kevin, Colleen and Neeji came to visit Ceil.  Kevin and Colleen took Ceil out for for dinner. They decided on Chinese. After dinner  they took a drive around the neighborhoods to try to find Halloween lights.  Kevin and Colleen visited for a bit, then it was off to sleep for Ceil.  Thanks Kevin and Colleen for taking the time out of your busy life to spend time with Ceil.  Brian and Mickie are taking Ceil out for brunch tomorrow.  After brunch I'm sure there's a football game to be watched.  Should be a great day for Ceil tomorrow.

Thursday is Doug Day III

Thursday has become Doug day, and that means getting out of the house for a while and breathing the fall air.  Today was a simple outing, with a stop at Crossroads, and then to Dickie's. (who'd a thunk?), and then back for a nice afternoon nap.  Many thanks to Doug for being there for Ceil, and letting me get out of the house for a while.  As a full-time caregiver, those three hours mean a lot.

Wednesday Update

A pretty quiet day for Ceil.  Just enjoying life at home and taking it a day at a time.  The highlight of the day was the card from the Kukloks,

Tuesday Update - Doug and the Dentist

Ceil had a dentist appointment first thing this morning, and Doug was kind enough to take her there for me.  Afterward, they were off to Crossroads where they ran into some old friends and window shopped. Then it was over to, where else?  Dickie's BBQ for lunch!   A nice morning indeed for Ceil.

Sunday Update- Turkey Dinner

Ceil was up bright and early to get ready for a special turkey dinner that was being made in her new stove. The turkey dinner turned out good. Everyone brought a side or dessert and no one left the table hungry. Thank you Doug for the homemade pumpkin pie (and dinner rolls). Thank you Mickie and Brian for the wild rice hotdish. Thank you Denise for the wine and dinner rolls. Thank you Kevin and Collen for the pumpkin mousse and applecake with caramel sauce. Kaite and Stevie stopped by later with "the little man" and everyone, including Ceil, was happy to see Christopher. Ceil is now waching the Vikings Packers game. She is decked out in her Vikings outfit (including purple nail polish and viking earrings). Go Vikes! Tomorrow Ceil will be spending the day with Denise. Denise will put her to work- perhaps stir up a batch of apple wine???

 

Saturday Update

The dream catcher was indicating that a nice day was ahead for us.

We went for a walk in Sauk Rapids.  The sun was warm and the morning was beautiful.  We stopped at the new Walgreen's to look around.
