According NINDS, at least 25 percent of stroke survivors experience language impairments. This can include the ability to speak, write and understand spoken and written language. Ceil is working with a really great speech pathologist who comes three times a week. They were working with flashcards this morning when I took the video below. Ceil got 13 out of 17 right with the flashcards, or 76% on the first try! Ceil has been making great strides in her recovery and relearning process over the last two months. More to come!
