The Re-learning Process

Over the last few months Ceil has been making so much progress in her recovery. As you know, the stroke was in an area of the brain that was associated with listening, speaking, reading, writing, language, memory for written and spoken messages, the ability to analyze and other uses of information, and controlling the right side of the body. So, as you can see, Ceil has a lot to re-learn as she moves through the process of recovery. I have the privilege to watch, and be a part of this process everyday, as Ceil re-learns and regains simple and complex functions lost due to the stroke. It is a wonder to behold for sure. Not always easy, but always worth the effort. I have tried to show you glimpses into the process through small videos and pictures. I hope they are helpful to you and give you hope that Ceil is truly on the road to a meaningful recovery. Below are videos from this morning's speech therapy session.
