A Lovely Visit

Yesterday. after dinner Linda and I were getting a bit antsy, and Ceil was getting too droopy. So, Linda called Denise to see if she was up for a visit. She was. So we hopped in the van and took off to see Denise. Bill and Ian were there as well, and their cat, who was quite social for a cat. We had a great time talking and laughing. You could see that Ceil was enjoying every minute. It is great to get Ceil out of her house for short visits to see and do different things. I like our routine, but sometimes a change of pace is a good thing. We did stay for pizza, and Denise brought out her pickles. We were there until 8:00 pm, but when it is time to go, it is time to go. We said our goodbyes and off we went back to Ceil's house. We got her tucked in to bed just as the thunder began to rumble. A nice end to a great day.
