Monday

Sunny and cold at the plaza this morning.

Ceil had therapy early this morning, but did really well.  OT was very good for Ceil, as she continues to progress in many areas.  She took her shoes off in record time today!  She also did really well at the Dynavision board.  PT was good, and she walked a lot during her session.  As we approach the year mark since her stroke.  It is a great thing to watch Ceil continue to work hard to make small steps, and gain more strength and use of her right leg and arm, and improvements in her speech.  None of this would have been possible had she remained in the nursing home.  So, for Ceil, being home has been the key to her success thus far, and Linda and I are looking forward to many more years of continued progress and good health for Ceil, and will continue to care for Ceil at home as long as it takes.  Our reward is seeing Ceil's smiling face every morning as she wakes up in her own bed.
Shoes off in record time!

  1. Hey, Cinderella, be sure to not leave your shoes at the dance!

Next time, ask the OT person to give you a pedicure as long as you have your shoes and socks off.
