Ceil really enjoyed her toast this morning. It was made with Maxine's wonderful bread she brought yesterday. Thank you! Ceil has a follow-up appointment with the rehab doctor today. The doctor has been very supportive and has listened to all of my requests for various therapeutic modalities, etc. Today he will assess how Ceil is doing with therapy at the plaza. I am sure he will sign-off on more therapy sessions, as Ceil is doing much better now that she is off Dilantin.
The doctor visit went really well. Dr. S is a really nice guy, and genuinely cares about his patients. He was excited about the progress that Ceil has made over the last few weeks, and how healthy she looked today. He was also impressed with Ceil's vocabulary. He recommended that Ceil continue therapy, both at home and at the plaza. Great news!
