Wednesday- birthday party

Linda surprised Rob and Ceil by coming home at 11:00am.  Ceil gave thumbs up to eating at Arby's for lunch. Linda and Ceil split a (large) fish sandwich...two fish sandwiches for $4.00 is hard to beat. Afterwards it was off to the Dollar Store to buy some birthday plates and napkins....oh it's so easy to put much more in your basket than planned!  After Ceil's nap, Ceil had to get ready for a birthday party Rob was throwing for himself.  His birthday is tomorrow and he wanted to make dinner for some of the people that help him with Ceil during the week or who have helped him in the past. Ceil got showered and got all gussy-up for her company.  Denise, Bill, Hannah, and Ian came with a birthday cheesecake and wine in hand.  Claude came....he misses Rob's cooking ever since we moved out of the apartment complex (plus he's been a good friend for 24 years).  Doug came also.  Ceil was all smiles having dinner with her family.  Everyone remarked how lovely Ceil looked this evening. After dinner and birthday cake (Rob turns 55 but we only had candles for 57- that's okay because that was the year he was born), Ceil enjoyed some couch-time with Denise, Hannah, and Doug.  It's a work/school night so everyone said their goodbyes around 7:00pm.  Ceil is now relaxing and watching "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives".  Tomorrow is Rob's birthday, so I am sure there will be something fun the agenda.
