Friday Update

It's been a great week for Ceil.  She has been doing really well at therapy, both at home and the plaza.  I spoke with Dr. L and was able to get the Tegratol dose reduced to 200mg/day.  I was noticing too many side effects from the prescribed dose, and it was also beginning to interfere with Ceil's daily routine and therapy.  Ceil is now sitting in her own chair for all meals.  This is a great thing, and Ceil is so proud and happy to have her meals with Linda and I, not sitting in the wheelchair.  Today will, in all likelihood be a quiet day for Ceil.  We will do the regular therapies, but I will also have her doing some other tasks to help build her organizational skills.  Nothing is planned for this evening as of yet.
Ceil putting the nativity set away.  This was a good OT session for her.

  1. Well, Mom put away the Nativity scene. You know what that means, don't you? Christmas is officially over for the year. Next stop: Valentine's Day! (I'm looking forward to the hearts.)
