Sunday- Quiet Day
Ceil woke up to a non-agenda day. Larry called after breakfast and talked with Ceil about all the free fruit he and Noriko have access to and about the 80 degree weather in California. After the phone call we headed out the door to K-Mart. Linda had a few things she wanted to look at, including a workout video for her and Ceil. We went across the street to Cashwise for lunch but saw they had raise the prices on their menu, so we picked up turkey hot dogs, beans, chips and buns for lunch. Good thing we did because Kaite, Stevie, Christopher and Jaiden arrived at the house the same time we did. They had just gotten out of church and were hungary, so they joined us for lunch. Ceil loves having the little man over for mealtime. It's pretty cold outside so there are no plans to go out later on.

Saturday- Gonzo and Colleen Day
The little man woke Ceil up as promised. He had plenty of hugs and kisses for his great grandma. Ceil got showered, put on her nice duds, and is looking forward to a great day. Rob made french toast for everyone for breakfast. Ceil and Christopher enjoyed their powder-sugared covered french toast with turkey bacon and mandarin oranges on the side. Kevin and Colleen will be arriving shortly to take Ceil on an outing. It's a sunny day out so it's a great day to be out and about. We'll see what today brings (an update will be posted later).
Update: Kevin and Colleen arrived and it was off to Savers. Colleen was looking for some slip-on winterboots for her dad. The shopping trip was successful. They also browsed around Big Lots and found a treat to bring home. Kevin and Colleen know Ceil loves Arby's, so it was off to Arby's for roastbeef and fries for lunch. The three arrived home after lunch at around 1:00pm. After visiting and taste-testing the chocolate croissant treats bought at Big Lots, Kevin and Colleen headed back to Minneapolis. We decided that perhaps, weather permitting, we will take a road trip next weekend to Kevin and Colleen's home.
And yet another update: After dinner Ceil said yes when asked if she wanted to go visit Denise and her family. We called Denise, she said come on over and we told her to start brewing some coffee. Denise's friend Leslie was at Denise's helping bottle some wine. Before coffee we had to taste some of her wine....it was very smooth and tasty. She had chocolate to go with the wine. Katie, Stevie, Jaiden and Christopher stopped by for a visit at Denise's...everyone had a good time visiting.

Friday- Fester Fun
Friday was Fester Day! Brian came to take Ceil on an outing. First stop was Walmart. Both Ceil and Brian enjoy the Clearance racks there. The next stop was Savers. Brian decided Ceil needed a new jacket. The two browsed at the racks and found one they agreed. on. Lunch was next on the agenda. Brian took Ceil to Space Aliens for an out-of-this-world meal. There were plenty of leftovers for dinner later on. The little man came over to his great grandma's house to spend the night. We all enjoyed leftovers for dinner and the little man kept Ceil entertained until she went to bed. Ceil is looking forward to having the little man wake her up in the morning.

Thursday- Something New
Doug was here this morning to take Ceil out for an outing. Ceil and Doug went for their regular walk around the mall and coffee at Target. For lunch Doug decided to take Ceil to a new place that recently opened called "The Boulder Tap House". Still waiting on the reviews.

Wednesday Update
Ceil is doing great today. This has been a very quiet and boring day! Nothing planned for this evening either. See you tomorrow.
Update: ING had a "Yard Sale" and Linda picked up a few items for Ceil and Rob. Linda brought Ceil a yoga mat and hat. It will take a lot of push and encouragement to get Ceil down on a yoga mat, but never say never...maybe Ceil will like it.

Monday Update - Denise and ?
Denise was here for the morning to do Ceil's nails and visit. They had a great time, laughing, telling stories, and enjoying the morning together.
Who is this strange visitor? The uni bomber? Igor?
It's Fester! He came to town to pick up his new glasses, and then stopped by for some quality time with Ceil.

Sunday- Hot Dog, Hot dog, hot diggity dog!
Ceil awoke to a cold and dreary day. It was decided it would be a good time to go grocery shopping. Rob usually does the grocery shopping when Doug has Ceil out on an outing on Tuesdays, but we decided to go get some of the 10 for $10 deals at Cashwise. Ceil hasn't been to Cashwise (the old Cub) store since the changeover so we spent about 90 minutes just walking around and making sure we were getting the best deals. Kaite, Stevie, Christopher and Jaiden were pulling up just as we returned home. Luckily we had picked up a package of turkey hotdogs, buns and chips for lunch at Cashwise. Ceil was happy to see her little man and they enjoyed their hotdog lunch together along with the rest of us. Ceil is up from her nap now and is drinking hot chocolate and watching a little TV. It's nasty outside and we decided we were staying inside the rest of the day. We will probably watch a little football later...go 49er's! Maybe some other visitors will drop in?

Saturday in Pictures III
Ceil woke up to a sunny day. Kevin and Colleen were on their way to visit Ceil but ran into a little car trouble...flat tire :( They decided they will head up this afternoon after Ceil's nap. Rob and Linda then decided it would be a good time to check out the new River's Edge Convention Center in downtown St. Cloud. After breakfast we headed downtown. Upon arriving Ceil ran into some old friends from her dancing days...Norma, Al and Norma's nephew Jim. They were happy to see Ceil looking so good. They were there to check out the Beer Fest but were a few hours early. Linda knew they would be setting up for the event and thought it would be a good time to look around. The new center is beautiful and big. The Beer Fest had about 75 booths set up. Many local breweries were there. No beer was flowing yet as the event did not start until 2:00pm. Tickets were $30 and there was no intention on our part to stay, we were there just to look around. We walked all around the new center...downstairs and upstairs. Perhaps we may have to check other events there as the occasion might arise. After looking around, we shopped a little at Herbergers. Ceil hadn't been there for a long time. Ceil always enjoyed looking at the kitchen items there. We went home for lunch (leftover chile- yum). Now Ceil is up waiting for her visitors to arrive...who knows who else might show up today!
Kevin and Colleen arrived with peppermint moonpies in hand. Hannah and Denise arrived also. Kevin, Colleen and Hannah took Ceil to The Grande Depot ( http://www.thegranddepot.com ) to browse around. They all enjoyed looking at the food, wine and merchandise available. Afterwards it was off to Culvers for dinner. Ceil loves Culvers, and they all enjoyed dinner together. At Culvers Ceil ran into Renee's sister Doris....Ceil usually can not leave the house without running into someone she knows. Kevin and Colleen brought Ceil home after Culvers and visited for a bit, it was getting late so they said their good-byes. Thank you Kevin and Colleen for your visit and for the moonpies :)
Ceil met up with Al, Norma, and Jim at the new Rivers Edge Civic Center
Fester!! Beer!!!
