Saturday- Gonzo and Colleen Day

The little man woke Ceil up as promised.  He had plenty of hugs and kisses for his great grandma. Ceil got showered, put on her nice duds, and is looking forward to a great day.  Rob made french toast for everyone for breakfast.  Ceil and Christopher enjoyed their powder-sugared covered french toast with turkey bacon and mandarin oranges on the side.  Kevin and Colleen will be arriving shortly to take Ceil on an outing.  It's a sunny day out so it's a great day to be out and about.  We'll see what today brings (an update will be posted later).
Update: Kevin and Colleen arrived and it was off to Savers. Colleen was looking for some slip-on winterboots for her dad. The shopping trip was successful.  They also browsed around Big Lots and found a treat to bring home.  Kevin and Colleen know Ceil loves Arby's, so it was off to Arby's for roastbeef and fries for lunch. The three arrived home after lunch at around 1:00pm. After visiting and taste-testing the chocolate croissant treats bought at Big Lots, Kevin and Colleen headed back to Minneapolis.  We decided that perhaps, weather permitting, we will take a road trip next weekend to Kevin and Colleen's home.
And yet another update: After dinner Ceil said yes when asked if she wanted to go visit Denise and her family. We called Denise, she said come on over and we told her to start brewing some coffee.  Denise's friend Leslie was at Denise's helping bottle some wine. Before coffee we had to taste some of her wine....it was very smooth and tasty.  She had chocolate to go with the wine. Katie, Stevie, Jaiden and Christopher stopped by for a visit at Denise's...everyone had a good time visiting.

  1. Hey, Kevin, I see you trying to steal that last French Fry from Mom! Don't even think about it!

Love the red Valentine's hat! Did you buy it? Did you buy it? I would have, just on principles!

I'm kind of working backwards here: The French toast looks oo-la-la! I'm going to have to make some French toast now.

Now I'm working forward. OK, Denise. We all know you're the best home wine maker in Stearn's County! Mom says, "Thank you for sharing!"
