Saturday- Saturday the 14th

Ceil woke up to the little man sitting on her tummy and smiling down on her.  Ceil was all smiles and gave her little man lots of kisses. Ceil and Chirstopher enjoyed a pancake breakfast together.  They both gobbled up the pancakes..the pancakes were delicious!  The little man entertained Ceil as they both watched a few baking shows on T.V.   Potstickers, fishsticks and baked beans were on the lunch menu.  After lunch Linda was talking to Ceil about the baked beans she use to make for picnics.  As Linda was trying to find the recipe in the old recipe box for the baked beans, she came across another recipe box where she found the original christmas cookie recipes. Ceil always shared her christmas cookies with everyone, so Linda scanned the recipes to share with everyone. Next year maybe Ceil will be on the receiving end of the christmas cookie chain.  While Ceil napped, Linda took the little man out for a walk in the snowfall. What a beautiful day for a snowy walk! After naptime Ceil, Linda and Rob went to Walmart to pick up Ceil's prescriptions. Kaite, Stevie and Christopher were there checking out the Photography Studio for Christopher's year old pictures. Ceil loves her little man Christopher. Ceil also ran into her friend, Romie (?) who works at Walmart (and Hostess).  Afterwards Linda was in the mood for a good burger so it was off to MT's on 8th.  The burgers and fries were great and the price was right!  Afterwards Ceil laughed as she watched a few episodes of "Hot in Cleveland"- Ceil loves Betty White's one-liners on the show.  Now Ceil is in bed resting up for another day of adventure tomorrow.

  1. I love the Brown Christmas cookie recipe. One cup of coffee!?!?!!!??? Holy Moley. No wonder we were so jagged up when we after we ate those brown Christmas cookies when we were kids! No wonder we loved them so much!!!! Sugar and coffee! What a combination. It's a good thing we loved to go outside and play in the snow to burn off that energy. I think I'll make it 2 cups of coffee for my recipe! Really jazz things up!

Anyhow, be sure to see my comment from yesterday, too!
