Ceil has had a nice quiet day today. Doug stopped by for a brief visit this morning. Doug talked a bit about taxes, and other things with Ceil. Fish sandwiches for dinner this evening. Perhaps we will go on an outing this evening after dinner. The weekend promises to be sunny and warmer!
Aargh, why did you have to remind me? I have to do our taxes. A fun weekend ahead for me!
ReplyDeleteI forgot it was Friday and had chicken soup, opps. I still have to do taxes. When I get my first cake made from the cake bible I'm having mom and the gang over. Denise
ReplyDeleteEveryone who still has to do taxes, leave a comment. Everyone who's already done their taxes, leave a comment showing off!
ReplyDeleteI want some cake from the cake bible!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm running up the score on the number of comments, just for the heck of it.
ReplyDeleteDon't ask me why I'm running up the score on the comments. I just feel like it, OK? Maybe it has something to do with March Madness and all those teams running up the score.
ReplyDeleteShame on you, Denise, eating meat during Lent. Say two Our Fathers and two Hail Marys, and next time, save some chicken soup for me, gosh darn it.
ReplyDeleteFish sandwiches, yum-yum. Last night, I think we had rice and beans, the new (austerity) American dish. Good-bye, hamburgers, we knew, and loved, thee well.
ReplyDeleteIt's getting sunny and warmer here in Bozeman, too. High near 50 today! But, there's still snow on the mountains for all the ski bums, God bless them.
ReplyDeleteThere you go, double figures on the comments. A new record!
ReplyDeleteNow, everyone else leave a comment, and let's really run up the score!!!!
We went to McDonald's after dinner and ordered two ice cream sundaes ($1.00 each) and two pies/$1.00. The three of us had pie-ala-mode for a whopping total of $3.26. And it was good!
ReplyDeleteTwo desserts. Wow! Lately, Noriko and I have been having about a minimum of four desserts! The other night I had homemade cheesecake, homemade raspberry jam, homemade blueberry jam, and a (small) piece of chocolate (got to keep it healthy, you know). Oh yeah, then we drank homemade amazake, a sweet, non-alcoholic drink made with brown rice (got to keep it healthy, you know). All homemade, isn't that great? I'd like to see someone top that dessert list. Come on, people, I'm throwing down the gauntlet. Answer the question here in the comments area: What did you have for dessert lately?
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm off to get my haircut. See you all maybe later today--I want to see those comments numbers going through the roof! If not today, I'll probably be back tomorrow.
Chow, I mean, Ciao.
