Thursday Update - The Importance of Faith

Ceil was up this morning anticipating communion with Father Alan.  She was excited that the priest was coming to serve her communion this morning.  It had been the deacon serving her at home thus far, but Father Alan was coming for this holy day communion.  Doug came right at 9:00 am as usual to spend the morning with Ceil.  Doug decided to have communion with his mother.  As I looked on I felt that this was the reason Ceil is persevering and remaining so steadfast in her efforts.  She has a foundation in her faith and trust in God.  Father Alan was kind and visited with Ceil, rather than just giving Communion and leaving.  I was impressed with genuine concern and care for Ceil.  We are thankful to St. Pete's for providing this wonderful service to those who are home-bound, or cannot make regular mass.  Blessings to you all!
